Just Met is a hosted online speed dating platform. Here's exactly what happens from the moment you book to when you receive your matches.

Create your profile
Sign up and complete a short profile - your first name, age, suburb, a brief bio, and a photo. This is the profile other attendees will see if you match after an event.

Browse and book an event
Each event lists the age range, date, time, and capacity upfront. Events are balanced by gender mix. Book your spot with a one-off payment - no subscription required.

Join on the night
On the evening of the event, join from your browser - no app required. A host welcomes everyone and guides the event. Doors open 30 minutes before the event starts.

Meet people in timed rounds
Once the event starts, the system pairs you automatically for each round. You'll have a short video conversation - typically 5-7 minutes - with each person. The host can pause, extend, or intervene if needed, but rounds flow automatically.

Answer privately after each round
After each round ends, you privately answer yes or no for that person. Your answer is never shown to them - and their answer is never shown to you. This keeps the pressure off and ensures everyone can be honest.

Receive your matches
After the event ends, mutual matches are identified. If both of you answered yes, you'll each receive an email with the other person's profile details - name, photo, bio, and contact details. That's it. What happens next is up to you.
